Disabled and Disabling Animals: Call for Papers for the IMC 2020 Session Proposal
The Medieval Animal Data-Network is organizing several sessions on Animals for the International Medieval Congress that will take place at the University of Leeds in 2020. We are welcoming submissions for 20-minute presentations for the interdisciplinary session “Disabled & Disabling Animals.” This interdisciplinary session will explore any kind of injury, illness, attack, or general disablement of animals and the way human beings react to these problems; as well as human disablement through animal encounters.
Please, send title and 250-word abstract to Alice Choyke at choyke@ceu.edu by 15 September, 2019.
